Jiang Hua in Chinese means ginger flowers. It is a very popular Phoenix tea in its production area in Phoenix Mountain.
Jiang Hua Xiang, literally Ginger flower scent, is a minor name in Japan and Malaysia, but it is certainly a very popular name of Phoenix tea among the locals in Phoenix Town. Such a name is used because of the scent of ginger flowers, but when you actually smell the scent of ginger flowers, it is certainly very similar to the scent of this tea. Perhaps as a more familiar scent, the flavor of this tea is very similar to the scent of daffodil flowers, and the unique scent of citrus plant flowers is impressive.
2017 was an ideal year for the production of Phoenix tea, because of the sunny weather in spring. This tea, which bears the name of Lao Cong (老 欉), is made from tea harvested from old tea trees > 100 years old. It has a gorgeous scent, a long finish, and a strong aftertaste.
This tea was baked moderately with traditional charcoal fire. It gives a warmth drinking sensation.
