Ba Xian, which means "Eight Immortals" in Chinese, is a highly regarded variety of Phoenix Dan Cong tea. Known for its delicate floral notes, Ba Xian often exudes the fragrances of orchids and lilies, making it a popular choice among tea enthusiasts.
Traditionally, Ba Xian teas are relatively expensive, but this year we were fortunate to acquire a batch at a more affordable price. This particular Ba Xian features a prominent lily aroma, with undertones of dried raspberries and a subtle hint of sweet lychee, giving it a unique fruity-floral profile.
The tea is sourced from Feng Xi, Dong Jiao Village (鳳溪東郊村), at an altitude of 600-700 meters, where the favorable growing conditions contribute to its refined character.
