Xin Ren Xiang is one of the 10 major types of scent of Phoenix Dan Cong, which is one of the unique way of identifying the Phoenix Dan Cong. Tea from Phoenix is classified according to the type of scent. For this reason, even with the same name, Xin Ren Xiang, the varieties (type of tea trees) are not fixed, and the same type of scent can made from different type of varieties.
This tea is made from a variety called Ju Duo Zai (踞剁仔). In Chinese or local dialect it means the appearance of the edge of tea leaf looks like the teeth of a saw, so the name was given. This variety is well-known for its appealing scent and it is a popular variety.
This tea has a sweet scent reminiscent of pineapple, peach, plum, strawberry, dragon fruit, kiwi, and etc.
This tea is produced from Fu Nan Qiao Tou Village, at altitude about 600-700m.
