"Zhu Ye" in Chinese translates to "bamboo leaves."

This Phoenix Dan Cong tea is known for its relatively large tea leaves, which locals in Phoenix Mountain likened to bamboo leaves, giving it the name "Zhu Ye."

Zhu Ye is a variety of Phoenix Dan Cong, classified under the "Zhi Lan Xiang" category, one of the top ten famous fragrance types of Phoenix Dan Cong.

As the name suggests, the tea typically has an orchid-like fragrance. However, with more intense charcoal baking, it can develop a fruity aroma rather than the lighter floral notes.

This particular Zhu Ye is moderately baked, striking a balance between refreshing floral and fruity scents. It carries sweet fruity notes reminiscent of raspberries, mulberries, cherries, and other similar fruits.

The tea is harvested from tea trees grown at an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters in Da An Village on Wu Dong Mountain in Phoenix. Due to the high altitude and pesticide-free, fertilizer-free cultivation, the tea offers a clean, lasting finish that persists through multiple infusions.

This tea is crafted for seasoned tea enthusiasts who appreciate a tea with a refined and sophisticated character. Its gentle yet complex flavor profile is perfect for those who seek a balanced, smooth taste with layered aromas that reveal themselves with every infusion. The subtle floral and fruity notes create a harmonious drinking experience, making it an ideal choice for those who value elegance in their tea. This tea is a testament to the art of traditional craftsmanship, offering a delicate yet memorable flavor journey for the discerning palate.
