Huang Zhi Xiang is a well-known type of Phoenix Oolong among the locals in Phoenix Town. It is said that the mother tree is Song Zhong, so the full name of this tea is called Phoenix Wu Dong Song Zhong Huang Zhi Xiang, means that it's from the Song Zhong tree, and it gives floral note of Huang Zhi (Huang Zhi means gardenia flowers). It is grown at high altitude of Wu Dong Mountain in Phoenix. This tea is very popular among the middle grade of Phoenix Dan Cong. It has a comfortable drinking sensation with lingering sweetish taste down the throat over several brewing.
